XELA INSTITUTE OF ART INAUGURAL EXHIBITION

Xela Institute of Art is a new contemporary art museum in Long Beach, CA that exhibits emerging, mid-career, and established contemporary artists. The inaugural exhibition will coalesce the work of established artists, as mentors to emerging artists - connecting their threads, experiences, and presenting both a harmony and dissonance between the artmaking practices, approaches, and oeuvre. Artists in the inaugural exhibition include Edgar Arceneaux, William Bradley, Nancy Buchanan, Joe Fyfe, Carla Jay Harris, Parker Ito, Samuel Levi Jones, Alexander Kroll, Christophe Leroux, Edouard NG, Ali Prosch, Zeinab Saleh, Cori Redstone and Chris Velez.

The museum aims to support a wide breadth of artists from the contemporary art world. Xela is a kunsthalle-style exhibition space that will feature work from emerging to established artists, as well as hosting artist residencies and educational programs.

To visit the exhibition, reservations are required - with names, number of guests, phone number, and email. Please send your reservation request to info@xela.art. A confirmation of your reservation will be sent to your email. Xela Institute of Art will do its best to accommodate the dates of your desired visit and will get back to schedule available times, should the desired slot be full.
