Zackary Drucker

This selection of video from the Hammer Contemporary Collection spans five decades of output by an intergenerational assembly of artists. Several of the works have been included in past iterations of the museum’s Made in L.A. biennial or Hammer Projects exhibitions. Presented as a rotating series that spans the duration of the Hammer’s concurrent exhibition Together in Time, the program offers unique insight into the museum’s emphasis on collecting timely and landmark videos from the recent past and present. Full Burn unfolds as a series of discrete looped encounters and thematic pairings pulled from the Hammer’s ever-expanding collection of video and other time-based media.
