Ken Gonzales-Day
Artist Ken Gonzales-Day gives a gallery tour of the exhibition "Face to Face: Ken Gonzales-Day" at the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art in November 2023. "Face to Face" presents the unflinching and innovative photography of Ken Gonzales-Day, a Scripps College art professor since 1995, who has been exploring the history of race and its representation for over two decades. The exhibition juxtaposes two overlapping bodies of work, "Pandemic Portraits" and "Profiled", to confront our often unexamined modes of seeing. "Face to Face" will remain on view through January 21, 2024.
