Asad Faulwell (b. 1982) is an Iranian-American artist who lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. He received his MFA from Claremont Graduate University and his BFA from the University of California, Santa Barbara. His work has been included in solo and group exhibitions at Art, Design and Architecture Museum at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Goleta, CA; The Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, Overland Park, KS; Torrance Art Museum, Torrance, CA; Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles, CA; and Orange County Museum of Art, Newport Beach, CA. His work is in the collections of Perez Art Museum, Miami, FL; Pizzuti Collection of the Columbus Museum of Art; The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, MO; The Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, Overland Park, MO; Orange County Museum of Art, Newport Beach, CA; Art, Design & Architecture Museum at the University of California, Santa Barbara; and Los Angeles County Museum of Art, CA; as well as numerous private collections such as Franks-Suss, Rubell Family Collection, and Beth DeWoody, among others.
